Phil Barlow Presenting At 2 New Events
February 19th, 2020
Principal Phil Barlow will soon be presenting at two educational events in the first week of March.
The first is "Observing Construction: Techniques, Tips & Thoughts," which is a continuing education program for AEC professionals on March 5th in Bridgeport, held by the CT chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He’ll be speaking on a panel with other LA's all about “Construction Observations in the Field.” Panelists will discuss their role and experience as it relates to the construction phase of their work. Interaction with construction teams and allied professionals, along with observation methods, tools, and data recording will be explored. Find more information and registration materials on the CT ASLA website here.
The second event he'll be presenting at is the next day-- "The Economic Value of Urban Parks & Public Spaces" hosted by the Connecticut Main Street Center. The event is an "exploration of the critical role landscape architects play in the places our lives happen, and how they can help your town or urban neighborhood grow and thrive." Phil will be explaining what exactly landscape architecture is. You can register for the event here.
