Principal Phil Barlow To Speak At CT ASLA Symposium

September 7th, 2017

Principal Phil Barlow will be speaking at the upcoming “Designing Green Roofs & Plazas” symposium hosted by the Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. This event will educate attendees on the planning, design, and realization of successful green rooftop projects.

Phil will discuss the political and design history of Constitution Plaza, one the oldest and largest roof plazas in the country. As part of his research, Phil interviewed Stuart Dawson, retired principal of Sasaki Associates, who worked as a landscape architect on the original design team in the 1960s.

The day-long event will include tours of green roof installations at the Traveler’s Plaza, Phoenix Plaza, and Constitution Plaza in Hartford. Get tickets for the event here. See full-length event brochure here.
