This outdoor learning environment was designed to reinforce the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, which emphasizes art-based early education strategies and a natural, aesthetic environment that is designed to inspire children. The area provides a setting for nature and science study, dramatic play, problem solving and cognitive play.
