Sigourney Square Park is an urban gem surrounded on all four sides by city streets and located in a part of the city undergoing revitalization. The park offered nice amenities that required updating and repair. The project scope included replacing the existing play equipment with new playscapes, replacing the single nozzle spray feature with a spray pool environment, and removing features that were no longer used, such as horseshoe pits and shuffleboard courts. In addition, the park is enclosed with a beautiful iron fence and decorative entrance gates, which were repaired and repainted. Basketball and game courts were also repaired and resurfaced.
