Jon Tunsky is a licensed landscape architect with over ten years of professional experience, and has been with us since 2014. A lifelong Connecticut resident, Jon appreciates the diverse aspects of our state’s unique landscape. While a student at SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry in Syracuse, Jon spent a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain preparing a thesis project. He also interned with the Hudson River Park Trust in New York City for a summer where he learned valuable lessons about urban parks. As a To Design principal, Jon has developed an impressive resume of park and recreation, educational, affordable housing, and related municipal work. The positive impact of his work has been felt throughout the communities we work in and by the entire To Design team.

Jon lives with his wife, two young children, and dog in West Hartford, Connecticut. Jon is also a very active member of the Bishops Corner Neighborhood Association, and a volunteer with the Connecticut Chapter of the ACE Mentor Program of America.
