senior landscape architect

Sue Watts is a Professional Landscape Architect and active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. She has more than 30 years of professional experience and previously worked at Freeman Companies of Hartford, CT. Sue’s experience includes master planning, site development plans, streetscape/public spaces, education, mixed use, commercial, historic properties, parks/recreation/trails, public housing and subdivision design. She is a graduate of Iowa State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture.

Sue lives in Deep River with her husband, Rob, and dog, Maggie. She is very lucky to have her two kids living nearby. She is very active in her community – serving on the Economic Development Commission, Streetscape Committee and Design Advisory Board.

An avid boater, Sue spends every available moment exploring the waters of New England on their boat, High Cotton. During the winter months, she races Ideal 18 sailboats on the Connecticut River.
