Project Details
The Courtland Arms building, located directly behind To Design's office in New Britain, dates back to 1925. The building sat vacant for over 20 years before the Chrysalis Center, Inc. bought the property to restore it to its former glory. The building was transformed into 24 one-bedroom units, with four being reserved for veterans.
We collaborated on this project with Paul B Bailey Architect and Chrysalis Center, Inc. To Design provided the site design, including the parking, entry courts, stormwater management, planting, and permitting with the city.
