Project Details
Opened in 1914, Muzzy Field has an illustrious past. It was home to the Boston Red Sox Double A minor league team from 1972-1982. Jim Rice, Fred Lynn, and Jerry Remi all played here. Babe Ruth himself once hit one out of the stadium. The field is now home to local high schools and the Bristol Blues of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
To Design will be completing design and construction administration for field improvements including stripping and replacing the sod, reconfiguring the irrigation systems, leveling the field, and updating lighting system.
